"...as polite and knowledgeable as you would hope for."
We received 3 bids for the purchase of our standby generator. One was twice as much as the others. One we did not feel comfortable with at all. Then a friend recommended Pride Electric and told me what a great job they did for her. We got the bid; it was a fair bid. We liked the owner; he did the bid himself. His wife is the office manager and she takes care of the clients. We have had it installed, they finished a day early and the employees that installed our generator were as polite and knowledgeable as you would hope for. I would recommend Pride Electric for your generator needs or for any electric issue. It’s a small family-owned company and [they] do show pride in their work. My husband has breathing issues and when there was going to be a shut off, they brought us a loaner generator to get us thru until they could install our Generac generator. That's above and beyond service. I ran my own company for 30 years and I know how difficult the service industry can be, with this company there were no issues. They provided excellent service and were completely well trained and knowledgeable

As a somewhat senior citizen I have dealt with many contractors over the years. Some of those experiences were good ones and others not so much. In this case I am writing this review about the hands down best contractor that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Pride Electric came to my rescue LITERALLY, after a totally botched installation by another contractor that not only put the unit at risk but also put my home and me at high risk due to the dangerous installation. Pride Electric gave me their quote of charges, showed up when they said they would and completed the tear down and "re-installation" of the Generac unit in record time. The quality of their work is the best that I have ever experienced or heard of from others. Their personnel explained thoroughly what was wrong with the current installation and what would be required to remedy the situation. I was astounded by the number of discrepancies that they had found and they put this into language that I understood, Pride Electric's owner was equally helpful and detailed with explaining what needed to be done and how they were going to complete the work. I have never had any contractor take the time to be so helpful when it is not required at all. The work was completed when they said that it would be and for exactly the dollar amount that I was quoted. Following the installation they gave me a top to bottom explanation of what I needed to do in order to properly maintain the unit. Incredible. Suffice it to say that I recommend Pride Electric for the installation of any Generac product and for standard maintenance and upkeep to keep the warranty in good standing and also guarantee reliable day to day operation. Hire Pride and leave any regrets behind!
